   Why do you pull my mind to yourself, you cannot be in my life
  leave my mind and nervous system alone, it's not connected to a heart
  i re-wired that a long time ago, you know because about 30 years later you were born
  you can't change the curve of your lip, the depth of your eyes
the pulse of your brain tuned into mine
  the opposite of everything you are too much
  i can't read you which is strange because i read people like books open to my intensity
   i know you lie and make up stories
  i'm not in the habit of needing people
  i've fallen off the edge of the planet before
more times than the years you wear so loosely on your shoulders
  you have no right to refuse to communicate with me
  at least telepathically
